What is KLHS?

KLHS, or Kajian Lingkungan Hidup Strategis, is a Strategic Environmental Assessment used to integrate environmental considerations into regional development planning. Its purpose is to ensure that medium- and long-term development strategies are environmentally sustainable and aligned with broader sustainability goals. By evaluating the potential environmental impacts of development plans, KLHS helps to mitigate negative effects and promote informed decision-making for sustainable growth.
